I recently joined the Club Membership in May 2018 at the Rose Hall Resort in Jamaica and similar to what others have said in their reviews, I paid a large sum of money in US dollars but since returning home I read the documents in more details and have some questions regarding some of the information in the documents. I have tried calling the Club membership Representatives but despite several calls and being told to stay on the line, my call is disconnected without being able to speak with anyone to answer my queries.

This happened three times. I also tried to speak with someone from the Rose Hall Resort but again no one is answering the telephone for the Club Membership section.

I have asked the Bank not to pay any more monies to the Club but all I can do is to monitor my account to stop any payment but the bank can do nothing. Only option is to have no money in the account so there is no money for payment. I am not sure how to get a refund because they gave only five days to cancel the agreement and it is well past 5 days.

I am beginning to agree that the club membership is not value for money.

How can I get out of this. Has anyone got any ideas.?::Sad

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Good luck they got $17,000 from me and the rate I can get is exactly what is offered on their website for anyone. We were all defrauded.

Sad really, I like their hotels. I will not give them another damn dime.

Have you had any luck cancelling the membership? I was also lied to and want to get our of the deal. I have send a complaint to the BBB and planning on putting another complaint to the profecco on Mexico but I would like to know of you had any luck getting out of it.

No luck at all, they gave me a voucher when I first signed up to use on a further booking but it was absolutely useless because I needed to pay 40% of the total amount for the membership before the voucher could be used. After loosing over ยฃ3000.00 I was not prepared to give Iberostar club another penny towards that membership.

It seems there is no way of addressing this kind of scam. How do they justify taking so much money with nothing in return.
